On The Mend:

[stone canyon jasper & sterling silver]

[yellow opal & sterling silver]

Dearest ladyfolk (and to the handful of gentlebeards who read this blog):
Thanks so much for your well wishes! I took the day gently yesterday and am finding that I can move my right hand much easier today. Additionally, my right arm has stopped burning and throbbing. My legs are something no one should have to ever see so I’m keeping them under wraps but recovery is quick. Thanks for all your comments, emails and convos yesterday and today! It’s probably not as bad as you imagine, but for the moment, I feel rather beat up.
In case you were wondering, I fell, headfirst, downhill, onto a pile of rocks…it was for a good reason though! I was looking around at the budding leaves and blue sky and snow capped mountain peaks and probably thinking prayerful thoughts simultaneously when the tragic accident occurred.
It would be far more interesting to say I was attacked by a pregnant hippopotamus while on a dangerous safari but that would be a lie. I try not to lie.  It’s unattractive.
I am updating the Etsy shop today!
I’m also planning on dropping a few custom order request listings in el shoppito in the week to come.  This month has been rather irregular and every time I find my footing I manage to slide right back down the slope again be the slippery-ness caused by a broken computer or a broken body!  I had a lovely lady in Australia request that I NOT announce the time when I’ll be putting the custom listings in the Etsy shop to make the winning of one a more serendipitous event (also a bit easier for those who live WAY outside of my timezone and do not feel inclined to perch in front of their computer monitors like hawks).  So this week, a couple of custom request listings will arrive in the Etsy shop at random times on random days!  I hope YOU get one!
I love it when you treat me like I’m human and allow me so much grace
when life throws it’s unexpected curve balls at me.  So thanks for that!  It makes
the tough times much easier to get through.
Alright, I’m off to list the new goodies!
On the mend,
Jillian

Oh, in reference to the Perelandra Earrings, C.S. Lewis is one of my all time favorite authors… I really like The Screwtape Letters:) Such a great synopsis of how we are in a real battle with the minions:))))

Once a gain fine work lovely lady!
Its always an utter delight to see what you’ve created, and even more of one to be adorned in them.

  10. Michaela Dawn says

ooh la la your work is so delicate and pretty and eye popping gorgeous! Hope you are okay.

  13. …and they’re all gone. maybe you should open a secret shop where those of us who aren’t able to snatch something within 2 seconds of it being listed actually have a shot at new stuff…and the location of this shop should change every week…and we can go to special training in order to maneuver for optimum plume success…

    xoxo

  14. Desiree Fawn says

So happy to hear you are feeling alright!
    Get well soon, my dear!

  15. I’ve become a Plume stalker!

I’m addicted. Is there a twelve step program?

Seriously, Jillian, those earrings are simply breathtaking. Whoever bought them is incredibly lucky.

And I’m glad to hear that you’re on the mend. Maybe you should enjoy the sights and sounds of spring while taking a leisurely stroll?

  16. kerin rose says

Plume, get thee a tube of homeopathic arnica gel from the local health food co-op….heals all bangs and boo-boos twice as fast…takes away the ache too!

  17. Kelly Wilson says

feel better soon! the jewellery is gorgeous! LOVE those violet earrings. are you on twitter?

  18. Sigh, I made a pendant that those Stone Canyon earrings would have gone perfectly with! I vote for the “secret shop” that She wrote about, I can’t keep up!

  19. The Noisy Plume: says

    Carrie: I’m alive and well!

    Lindsay: Drat that google reader:)

Elaine: It’s been kind of speedy! Thanks for your well wishes!

Miss C: I know exactly which magazine you are talking about!

D: Well, it would have been VERY SERIOUS for a hand, arm, shoulder and knee model:)

Mona: Will you send them anyway? I could use some kitty love.

Nancy: I hope you haven’t sustained serious injury from a heart-all-a-twitter:) XO

Lulu: What can I say!? I didn’t plan to have a problem like this in the Etsy shop::))))))

Michaela: I’m going to be back in gear tomorrow. My hand quit throbbing today…it felt a bit cosmic anytime I moved it or did any swinging about with it…probably a bad sign.

    And boo to the minions.

Sunny: Thanks babe! See you in LESS than a month now:)

    Carolyn: Why thanks miss Carolyn!

She: What a grand idea…I’m going to look into this. SMOOOOOCH.

    Fawn: Thank you sweet peach!

Michele: Well that’s exactly what I did today! I even photographed some of the flowers in the yard for everyone. I try to share them tomorrow especially for you Albertans who were just hit with a snowstorm:)

Miss Kerin: Thank you for this superb advice. I checked my local co-op and there wasn’t any to be found so I’ve been using something similar instead. It makes the scrapes feel much better!

Kelly: I am not on Twitter. I actually don’t know if I can handle one more interwebular thingy. If I ever get a Blackberry I’ll start to twit…which might be sooner than later since I have plans to accidently drop mine in the toilet this summer when I feel like I’m ready for an upgrade:)

Bees: Well that’s TWO votes for the secret shop! I’ll keep it in mind!

  20. Nancy*McKay says
