Let Your Hearts Be Glad

Good morning to you all!
Here at Plume Gables we have banana bread in the oven,
Ingrid Filter playing Chopin on the stereo,
coffee and tea in our cups
and the spring bouquet is a sight to behold!

About to pop
the tulips stand
a green sentry.
I know, not many people guard themselves with tulips.
But I do.  Grow flowers, not war.
I’M A BIT WORRIED THAT AS SOON AS THESE BEAUTIES BLOOM
THE DEER WILL HOP THE FENCE AND MUNCH THE BLOSSOMS OFF
SO I’M TAKING GREAT CARE TO WATCH THEIR DAILY PROGRESS
UNLESS I SHOULD MISS THEM IN THEIR CRIMSON SKIRTS.

I successfully cast off the shackles of anger and sadness
yesterday.  I’m light of spirit.
There’s Light in my spirit.
Thank you for receiving, so well, my fruits of the Spirit necklaces yesterday.  I hope they fill you up and make you glad and remind you to feel peace, joy, kindness and love when you need it most.  I’ll try to get the rest of the series finished in case any of you were pining away for self-control or patience!!!
Love to you all on this brilliant and sunny Saturday.
More often than not, your support and loving kindness is the breeze in my spinnaker sail.  I’m tacking straight for the heart of the sun.
PLUME
PS  MY MANY MANY SCABS ARE LOOKING INFINITELY SMALLER THIS MORNING AND MY LIMBS FEEL LESS SWOLLEN SO IT’S OFF FOR A RUN IN THE HILLS, THOUGH IT’S USUALLY MORE OF A RUN FILLED WITH PAUSES AS I OFTEN STOP TO LISTEN TO THE SONG BIRDS.  CARDIOVASCULAR WORKOUTS ARE SO BOTHERSOME.

“Cardiovascular workouts are so bothersome”…hee, I think that will be my new mantra.

However, I have “the fruit of the spirt is self control” on a worksheet I use daily, so – a toss-up!

  6. In regard to your fruits of the spirit series, I cannot stop laughing… I’ve got to show you some sketches I did a while back 🙂 hehehehehe

I thought I smelled the flowers! And I like one necklace to say “radiant acquiescence”.

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend. : )

  12. Oh I am hopeful for your tulips in your fenced yard. We have only one left of all our tulips,as yet still unopened (the rest of which were chomped by the deer, which I’m sure they enjoyed, although I would so like to have seen them first). I love the progression of the flowers in the spring. Enjoy!

It warms my heart to know that you once again get to take part in the most blessed form of meditation… actually, I think for me it’s the best way to let off steam, and because I too have a craft I know these too are the fruits for ones contemplation, and balance… so it is no surprise to me that there is so much energy {soul as you say} that goes into ones work, we {all creators} actually do infuse it with our being, and what thoughts we are entertaining truly do make it a memorable piece, for us so much so, and that makes it even more difficult to let it fly to the world, unless we understand it is going to someone who will cherish it too…

So, I am proud of the way you harnessed your anger for its a very powerful and motivating emotion, and someday I would so enjoy to take a run with you, I am sure the pitfalls and rutting roots of the trail will have difficulty daunting watchful feet…

Although it would be quite the sight…

Slower Short stuff trailing behind the faster tall glass of water:)
