as my son would say, “hokey doodileeo!! that’s fancy”!..i think you’ve found an “area” to explore..this belt buckle thing could keep you from ever seeing daylight again–you’ll be studio bound and many of the followers will be SUPER happy!!..lovely work miss.plume! 🙂
oh my goodness…i missed EVERYTHING in the shop, INCLUDING the freaking custom order thingies!!! guess i should refrain from getting errands done on my days off…those earrings were wonderful, as per usual!
JILL!!! I keep forgetting to phone you!! And when I do, I fear it’s fa too late at night to call, like right now! What’s the time difference between us anyway? I’ll get a hold of you soon though!
Is there a regular time or day that you put stuff in the shop? It’s too freakin frustrating! I’ve never ever seen any of the items you feature on your blog actually in the shop. They go out too fast. Whoosh. Grrr!
How’s about having stealth times like 10pm for those of us who aren’t at our computers during work hours? Thanks for considering.
Thanks a gazillion times all over again for these really wonderful comments!
About the custom request listing I posted yesterday: I tried to do them at a strange time, unannounced, and I posted 5 instead of the usual 3 (which really is more than I can handle without feeling stress but I felt I owed it to you). I really am truly sorry if you missed out. There will be more all in good time!
Yesterday, in the afternoon, I had this sudden urge to list those things in the shop…so I did!
About listing jewelry in the Etsy shop: I have started blogging about new work AFTER I’ve listed some of it in the Etsy shop in an attempt to make things more random and fair. I’m trying to do it at all times of day without having the business part of my life take over my personal life! I’m really and truly trying to list stuff randomly at different times of the day! The issue I’m having is that computer work is VERY time consuming and takes hours and hours of workable hours away from my studio time. I will be changing the system in the summertime when RW is away on fires. I’m going to back down to listing one day of the week and shipping one day of the week. I had plans to hire an assistant part time but am currently planning on being away half of the summer on various excursions to Canada and some other lovely places so I think I’ll just grin and bear it!
I really do thank you for your suggestions when it comes to listing my new work in the Etsy shop:) I’m trying my best to meet all of your desires without selling my soul and without burning out!!!
And as always, I’m so thankful for your patience and for the way YOU are able to handle the insanity of shopping at The Nosy Plume!
Then more congratulations are sent. If you have gotten yourself to needing part-time help your “little” business is flurishing at an amazing rate! I wish you all the best in your work and your travels!
