Your blog is always full of such fun surprises! From the daffodils, to the fluffy goose, to this breathtaking belt buckle– I always enjoy the diversity and complementarity of it all.
Oh. My. God. You didn’t! How long have you been wanting to do this?? Long time, i bet. 🙂 Sigh. I swoon at your belt buckle. What a unique piece of Plumage to have. Hmm…me-thinks you’ve just made fans out of all of us!
I have a nonfeathery baby Lucy myself – so I thank you for doing your part to save a Lucy. I just ordered silver today – and when I saw that belt buckle I nearly fainted. Too, too cool.
That is so friggin gorgeous! I was just looking at one my father passed on to me (he said it was too girly for him)…yours is WOWZA! It looks like very thick substantial metal and a gorgeous familiar design of yours! Rock on! 🙂
Hey. Ladies. Thanks for all this wonderful feedback on my firstest ever belt buckle!!!!!!! Sometimes, things turn out so beautifully that I feel a bit shocked. It’s like a greater force takes over my mind and my hands and my flame tip while I sit at my workbench…such a surreal experience. Some days I feel as though I grow a decade with my work. Other days I’m counting the seconds and minutes as they pass by.
I have been sketching belt buckles for some time now and I put the finishing touches on THIS design while at church this morning (I always take my sketchbook EVERYWHERE). It turned out so well. I guess I could say I knocked my own socks off…
We’ll see if it was pure luck or not when I attempt the next buckle.
WOAH DILLY…and I thought Lucy was a treasure to behold……

Gah!!! I deleted my comment and thought I’d copied it first. I had a typo.
Anyway, it went something like, I usually don’t curse but THAT. That right there is the SHIT.
I’ve wanted to make myself a buckle for a while but my mind moves faster than my skills. sigh. One day. One day!
I’m glad your anger is gone but I’m glad you were fruitful despite or perhaps because of it!
