Now that winter is through, they have ceased their tom foolery with the bird feeders though they do still enjoy shuffling around on the front porch at night (sets Penelope to wild bouts of woofing and snuffing at random intervals).

i love ungulates. my mum got threatened (charged without incident luckily) by an elk cow in waskesiu this week…luckily a local was just driving by and picked her up so she wouldn't get maimed…LUCKY

If only I could leave a photographic response to this post – I often get surprised by (and snap with lens) a Kangaroo or two in my front yard! Aren't our worlds all so different and such fun to share!
