Hullo
fluffy flooffertons and twitty tweetertons.
I’ve reached the end of my work day finally. It was a very good one. I’m rather tired and I’ve exasperated the kink in my neck so it will be ice packs and relaxation for the rest of the evening. However, I just had to say that the sky here is cloud upon cloud. My yard is green. There’s wine chilling in the fridge waiting to cool my fingertips. I’ve got a platter of new jewelry atop my office desk and a new day tomorrow to share with you. Life couldn’t be more grand. A toast to you and I at the end of a long day:
TO THE HONEST AND PURE WORK OF OUR HANDS.

I’d have popped some of these juicy fruits in the shop today but Tuesdays are hard on the-list -to-do when it comes to computer work since Sharlee is busy packing and shipping with the help of baby Mac. {i heart sharlee}
You can watch for slow but steady Etsy shop updates tomorrow!
Sweet dreams!

PS
I SHOULD WARN YOU…THE OWYHEE JASPER RING
Oh, I just LOVE (and I mean, LOVE!) owyhee jasper. It's just soooo beautiful.
….I feel the exact same way.
more beautiful jewelry, and it sounds like quite a lovely day. Always impressed!
A toast back to you.
Today is a fine day, indeed…I am officially resigned and have three weeks until I am self-employed. To borrow a word from you…wahoo!
Hope you're enjoying this lovely cooling off we're having!
just beautiful! sometimes a stone is so pretty all by itself. Wow jillian, when the timing is right i know i'll be the owner and keeper of one of your fine pieces!
Great eye for stones + superb handiwork = WOW!

Dorothy

I like saying OWYHEE…I am going to study it. And it is already wednesday, what happened?
xoxo
ps-love all
Don't you just love a day when the work feels right and good and true?
Best to Sharlee!
Eleanor: It was a really lovely day. Today is a new one. Update in the shop and then a walk in the hills before I settle into the studio.
Kate: YAY!!!!! This means you'll be free for coffee in the EVENINGS:) Finally. I can't wait for you to live a normal life. Enough with the night shifts!
Carolyn: I totally agree. Sometimes a stone is just fine all by itself. Owyhee Jasper always stands alone.
D: Thanks babe!
She: When will you come and live in my treefort. I don't actually have one, but i"ll build you one in the catalpa tree. You're the raven but you'll fit in with the crows in the crown of that tree just fine. XO
M: I've got the same thoughts about Wednesday. I feel like I'm missing two days this week. I might have to spend hours in the studio just to let my mind catch up with the week.
C: I surely do. I also LOVE falling into bed exhausted and not remembering the arrival of sleep in the morning. Sleep has been so good this week thus far. Whew.
SO gorgeous and I'm glad to hear you had such a fruitful day!
I miss you. Have you gotten any of my stalker messages?
Yes!
I'm behind on emails though…..I'll get to you today sometime.XO
LOL @ you Jillian! The comment on behind on emails. I bet you are plum swamp-doodled and lambasted!
I need a really good shot of my beautiful Jillian necklace…and it will have a post all it's own.
Warm, huggy thoughts,
heath
My kingdom for a belt buckle. Just kidding. Sort of…
oooo that owyhee jasper is simply divine! you really have a knack for finding the most luscious stones!
i found a stone very similar to your turquoise one, so big and beautiful! i set mine very similar to yours, the gorgeous-ness of the stone just begged simplicity!
i'm so glad that you had such a wonderful day, the products of which make me glow with happiness!
EĀ²
…oh…the pretty things you do with those magical hands…take my breath away…
want the big turquoise PLEASE
they are all lovely but I have my eye set on one :o)
listing just one at a time??
must be patient..
Still on alert for that wayward belt buckle. I know they've all sold, but I'm still hoping.
ack! my timing is always awful / your shelves are always bare when i'm there (still in poutine-land, doesn't really help, eh? :D)
in any case, miss jillian, i have a question/suggestion: is it possible to state whether your rings are resizable on your descriptions? i'm in posession of tiny fingers (i'm sure there are other gals out there in the same boat)….
have a lovely day!
In reply to the post above me from Lindsay…I'm a member of the long, thin finger brigade!! So I'll throw in a request for a note in the description about whether the rings are resizable (or heck, even a vote for more rings for us ladies with fingers sized 5-7 1/2 (or smaller). Thanks for making such beauties dear Jilli!! š
Dearest Rachael and Lindsay:
Fear not chickadees! Yesterday was a large ring day. I'm about to hop in my studio and whip up some new goodies, this will be a smaller batch in terms of ring sizes. As for resizing rings, I don't mind sizing regular bands UP (no more than a half size or things start to look funny). I do not size up wide bands (things get ugly quick). I do not size anything down. Thanks for your questions. I'll try to remember to state whether a ring is re-sizeable or not in future listings!
[oh yes oh yes, i'm voting for more 5-7 1/2's too. rachel, i'm joining the brigade. where can i sign up?]
thank you muchly jillian! i'll perch excitedly awaiting the smaller batch. have a most beautiful day!
Wait just a second. I know that dress. Now we can Seriously be cerebral twins! (and I all need is the yee haw skirt!)
