    well.
narwhals are magical. not like fake-unicorn-magic. real magic. it's on my big to-do list in life to see them swimming in the sea.

and boy-oh-boy do I love some grapefruit. I have been on a citrus bender recently.

sounds like you've had a lovely + productive day!

  10. You have got to be kidding me. This weekend (Saturday night I think) I spent some solid time with Mr. Google researching narwals. Narwal pictures (I've collected a few), narwal history, narwal dream-meaning (I keep dreaming about them).

    it's crazy man.

  11. Andewyn Designs says

Adam has been in my Netflix queue for months now…. Did you like it? I really like the acting of Rose Byrne and Hugh Dancy in other movies so I put it in the line up but haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

    That grapefruit looks delicious~

My Sunday included a midafternoon horseback ride with my buddy Arthur, finishing up some orders and then a little tv while crocheting some fingerless gloves.

I think I'm ready for this week 😉

  12. talk about a full and perfect day!
you embrace life and live it fully! such an attractive (and wise) quality!

my weekend was lost mostly in a mist of sickies…but sunday was better. i'll skip the details…but it was jammed-packed…mostly with an 91-year-old "girl" (my mom), who lives her life more fully and with more vim and vigour than ANY other person i know. hands down! and, i made a yummy comfort-food-fav, Shepherd's pie…with a lovely salad for dinner.

    xoxo

  13. Oh my… I have been having a whirlwind love affair with "Middle Cyclone" for about a week now… She is the centrifuge that throws the spires from the sunnnnnnn…….!!!

Some of the sassiest scintillating alliteration around, sistah!

    😉

  14. P.S. Soooooooo excited about your adventures in enameling!!

  15. The Noisy Plume: says

    Oh Lordy…..

    …me too.

  16. The Noisy Plume: says

It sounds like some of you had tremendous weekends!!! Thanks for sharing the details with me. I must say, I might start reading the newspaper…nah…I'd rather read poetry.

Also, I might let Mister Pinkerton sleep in the bedroom one of these nights since waking up to a kitty sounds fluffy and purr-lightful.

  17. thebearaffair says

So many cats, so little time….;)

  18. Sounds like a perfectly wonderful day!

I ALMOST went to Five Guys for lunch after reading your post this morning, as I started craving their Cajun fries.

(strange…all this narwhal talk, as I too have been thinking of them, perhaps for a new design for my shop…)

  19. Cerebral twins indeed. Freaky.

  20. The Noisy Plume: says

    I KNOW!!!
    Weird……

  21. The Noisy Plume: says

    Did I like Adam?

Yes I did. I'm somehow a magnet for movies with characters under the spell of Asperger Syndrome…in point of fact, some of my favorite movies have this factor in common.

I'm not sure why I'm so drawn to such characters, perhaps it's because they help me feel more secure with my eccentricity. I like watching beautiful minds in action…

So yes. I liked Adam very much, whether the acting was notable or not, I liked the content.

Corinna, I've loved Neko for years now. I started listening to her when I was in grade 9 or 10 when my best friend/boyfriend introduced me to her. You simply cannot go wrong with that woman, ever. If I had to choose a single album as the soundtrack of my life, it would certainly be one of hers…orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Murray Street (Sonic Youth, of course…) (I know, I know…the Sonic Youth album that hardly any Sonic Youth fans love….how I love to be contrary…).

    Oh jeepers. Cajun fries……

  22. Pretty Things says

That picture is so so so pretty! It almost makes me want to try a grapefruit again.

    Almost.
