Ha Jillian that brought such a big smile to my face! Sometimes I open packages of stones, squeal with glee then catch Dan's confused look out of the corner of my eye. I tell myself that other people out there react the same way!
Hehe hehe hehe! You are Marvelous! Truly! You should warn people to turn down the volume before your videos! My cat flew up from her perch and dash-ed into the kitchen staring wild eyed at the computer! 😀 It was awesome! Andrea Now to look up Kentucky Agate…
i imagine the agate has to do with the Canadian River in Texas.. they think maybe it's because of the Spanish word for canyon; cañada. i learned this by reading That Old Ace In The Hole, by Annie Proulx, you might like her stuff, definitely captures the spirit of the land.
i LOVE guide books of any sort. i totally did that when i bought my tree book 🙂
Okay, so I finally watched this…sooo funny! We met the photographer of that wonderful book at William Holland last year. He teaches the digital photography class and LOVES talking about both photography and stones. I just could not put that book down or stop my hands from running across the pages.
It's a beautifully created book. For those who don't know which book this is, it's called Agates and Jaspers (http://www.theimagebooks.com/)
It's chock full of stunning pictures (and microscopic pictures) of agates and jaspers, as well as some information on how they're formed. It's definitely helped me develop a greater appreciation for beautiful agates!
: )
…GOTTA meet YOU…one day…just gotta…

You are so stinkin' adorable!!! Makes me want to send you something just to watch you open it. (I will someday…when it's good enough…)
I laughed uproariously. So much more fun than grammar modules for a mandatory uni English class.
