  1. Aaaahhhh! So sweet! I was hoping that this video would be chick filled.

I've always thought it was neat when people take some time naming offspring, pets, etc to factor in their actual personality.

It is going to be a good 5+ years until we can get chickens so keep the updates coming. I can't imagine growing weary of them!

Plume, you're so cute. Love the new chickies! I have a slight obsession with poultry! Bless you! xx

  3. Good Googamooga!!

Your two little chicadees are the cutest that I've ever seen!!

I am an expert on chicadee cuteness as my uncle built himself a chicken "bunker" not too long ago…

    Looong story:)

Bless you and your Peeps- may they bring you lots o' love, adventure and beauteous eggies!

Jeepers. Creepers. Where'd you get such cute little peepers? We had chickens when I was a kid and I remember the "fluffy bum" stage so well…

  13. Jillian, my kids have just sat on my lap and watched your video twice. They want to tell you that they want chickens too, from their hardware store. Although since we already have raccoon visitors, I don't think we'll be getting them anytime soon.

Oh, they say to tell you that Jackson and Caroline LOVE your chicks!

fluffy little dudettes, I changed my mind, I would call the yellow one 'chippy', and the other one "squeaky"

  16. oooh i just came up for a couple other names – ophelia for the grey lady, lemony snicket for the yeller one (hehehe)!!

  17. Elly Rarg says

Oh, listen to them chirp! I think naming your chicks is important too, so you go right ahead and take your time. πŸ™‚ I love that your training the other animals to play nice with the chicks, I LOVE that you care enough. You are amazing, pretty lady! πŸ™‚

  18. The Noisy Plume: says

Oh I am SO SO SO glad you've enjoyed this chick footage! They are the sweetest little puddingbutts ever. Truly. I wish you could all hold them and listen to their songs. They actually warble!

Images of the chicken ark will be taken very soon! RW still has to put the cedar shakes on the actually laying house! WHEEEE!!!!!!

Cluck cluck and see you soon.
    xxxxxxx

  19. JILLIAN! Such an adorable video! I'm sure it's too late but just throwing in my ideas for chicky names!!! I vote Esmeralda for the darker one and Fiona for the yellow chicky (so sorry I forgot their proper chick names!). But I bet you are the best judge of what their names should be, I truly believe you have to get to know the animal before his or her name is "revealed" to you! Hope you had a great weekend!
