Portraits of a lady and her stuff:

I was there for less than 24 hours but my oh my, the time was fuller than full.
It’s always good to be in the care of the Madame.
Always.
Take your time looking at these images of her country home.
Surely you’ll find yourself charmed.

  1. So, so charming. Less than 24 hrs.? Where are your adventures leading you?

  2. The Noisy Plume: says

There was a last minute request from RW that I make the jaunt up to Winthrop to be with him over this weekend past. So I had to roll fast and 24 hours was all I had to spend with this lady in the woods.

I was so excited when I saw you on Candace's blog. I read yours, hers and Umber's religiously and seeing you all together made me smile big <3 Such lovely lady friends!

I love the softness of the photos.

I will say it again here, just so we can chronicle it well.

To have you make your contagious "fuss" over the ridiculousness that is the bones of my home, and now to see these mirrored image pictures again solidifies how I adore your friendship. You continually make life seem magical to me (as you have always done through your online presence anyway), and you have done the same for my home.

Simply put, I was discouraged before you came, and completely inspired after you left.

I intend to borrow those pure eyes for the rest of my days.

I especially enjoy my boooooty-licious picture while wrestling the sliding glass door and toppling over Farley.

a precious little elvenkind that Candace is…magical photos make me feel all daydreamy and what a lovely birdcage. I think Mme. is in need of a pet Starling hmmmm?

Who's the handsome fellow in the photo? Great photos! I love the country look and am a collector myself, or rather used to be but I have limited space these days to really have a full collection.

  8. UmberDove says

There are no less than ten thousand things I miss about her home.

And the Mme's booty is well up on that list.

As is a gigantic hug from the Saint.

  9. The Noisy Plume: says

The handsome fellow is MISTER Madame. He is a gentleman lumberjack and wears a ring on his left ring finger so don't get too smitten.

And I would agree with you, Umber, a hug from him is pure gold.
