Good evening my sparkly little spark plugs.
Just a few things to tell you today:
1. A day can come and go rather quickly. I spent my morning answering emails and my afternoon running errands all over town, having a deep tissue massage (Rebecca says I’m all screwy in my neck and shoulders) and buying raspberries (as well as a red coat).
2. We’re having pizza for dinner here this evening. The Mister is making it. He’s such a doll. There’s nothing cuter than a boy operating the KitchenAid mixer in a pair of grubby Carhartts. Yes. Le swoon.
3. My vintage seahorse scarf arrived from Italy. When I bought it on Etsy, I didn’t know it was coming from Firenze, I just knew it was covered in seahorses and I had to have it. It is, at this junction in time, my favorite scarf.
4. Last night, Mister Pinkerton calmly walked across the kitchen, through the porch and out the back door with an extremely large vole in his mouth. I don’t know why a vole was in my kitchen in the first place but I am glad it now resides in Mister Pinky’s stomach. It’s getting cold here so everything is trying to move into my house. How lovely. I live on the very West edge of town; I need a herd of cats.
I just had this come in the mail and it’s utterly delectable. I’m entirely enchanted. Thank you to the dear lady who suggested it to me.
That is all. Sleep tight.
xx

That scarf is great! And that vole was in your kitchen because he wanted pizza!
I'm clicked out….but had lots of fun!
Snail: Um yes. It Is/was GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!!!
Marie: "…just you and me…ever to be…." You know, I played the part of Diana once, in Anne of Green Gables…
Janel: She's going to be a cutie!
Fawn: You're positively correct. He DID want my pizza. Poor fellow got to be a mouthful for a cat instead…
Dala: I was glad to give your clicker a workout. x
Jillian, you KNOW how i feel about that scarf. I swoon every time i see it.
The wonders of Etsy never cease…
There was a late-night kitten visitor at my place last night. He was banging on the screen for quite some time. He gave me lots of nuzzles outside…i suppose i should have found a vole to keep him company. now i want a cat.
shoot.
p.s. Just made your pad thai for dinner. 🙂
As I read this we just happened to be listening to the EXACT SAME THING. Though I really can't take credit as the boy is choosing the music at the moment. I've heard good things about the new one but haven't really listened to it yet.
How long until the little lady arrives?!
RinaBina: Yup. It's pretty much the best scarf ever. I'll let you borrow it someday. And you KNOW that pad thai is the best. xx
Em: Give that boy a high five for me!!! And the little lady will arrive here in January (she was just conceived a couple of weeks ago).
