Judith, Rhonda and Winona say:
“Come for breakfast!”
There’s coffee in the french press,
agave nectar or honey for sweetening,
a dash of milk for milkifying.
Earl grey steeping and a demure:
“One lump or two?”
The cat is sprawling in the sunshine.
I haven’t combed my hair.
We’ll move the pile of unopened mail
to the seat of an empty chair.
to the seat of an empty chair.
We have gluten free and sourdough toasts,
a plop or two of soul fortifying plum jam,
extra sharp cheddar cheese
and a squeeze of orange juice.
The front door is open.
You are too far…but thank you! xx
sounds fabulous!
and perfect 🙂
this all sounds divine…. keep the kettle on, i'll be there in a jiffy!
Wonderful
may i come wearing my pajamas?
xx
Best offer in a long time! : )
Too many time zones away, I've already had lunch. : (
How long will it take me to drive from Wisconsin?
MLJ: Good point. x
Andes: Indeed! You have a perma-spot here. x
Lulu: Will do Lady Lu. x
C: I'm glad you think so!
Marie: GUFFAW!!!!
Cinder: Oh drat….I didn't think about timezones.
Brandi: Hang on, I'll google it. You might take breakfast with us on Thursday morning instead of today…..
You have no idea how much I would like to be able to accept this invitation;) I would probably smell like CANADA!
D:
HA HA!!!
RW and I have a running joke about the smell of a country. When we first moved to Alaska, we drove up on the Cassiar Highway and when we finally crossed the Yukon/Alaska border and were driving on American soil again, RW inhaled deeply and exclaimed, "Can you smell that???!!! The air is so much FRESHER on this side!!!"
I think I might have swatted him for such a comment.
Every time we cross the CDN/USA border, depending on whether we're headed north or south, we mention the air quality differences between here and there…
You can bring the fresh scent of Canada to my breakfast table any time you like.
Someone should create a "Canada" scented soy candle.
gf and earl grey for me please. oh and ive been enjoying gf onion dill bread that my wonder hubby made mewhile out at the cabin at wakaw this week. i'll make some for you when you come to visit.
xoxo
Don't mind if I do.
I'll bring the marm and puppy to entertain yours.
That sounds delightful. Too bad we don't live closer :o(
Oh <3, I love breakfasts like this one. They just kick of the day with a little more brilliance than might otherwise be had.
have you thought about publishing a collection of your poems? Like… in a book?
I am totally there in spirit.
you are killing me.

If only teleportation existed I could be over in a jiffy. Or possibly and even more wonderfully a rainbow coloured wormhole 😀

Jilly you'd be so proud of me, I made fresh biscuits from scratch to go with my homemade chicken noodle soup (with pureed cauliflour and sweet potato in the broth)!! Huh? Huh?
Also, where'd you find agave nectar?? (or whatever it was….)
sounds divine! one of these days i'm going to make it out to idaho and take you up on that offer!
A warm invitation impossible to resist xo
if only you were closer…I'd bring the chocolate croissants…and I LOVE the idea of a Canada scented candle 🙂
RW is so right … the air smells fresher on that side of the border!
What would a Canada candle smell like? Hockey locker room? Eeeeew.

Wlynndecker: Well yes. I have. I'm flattered that you would even ask such a thing!
Kerry: I can feel it.
Mme: Protein Temptress! GUFFAW!!!!!
Nialah: Mmmmmm…wormholes…..

Katie: Just let me know when that will be so I can stockpile a handful of fresh eggs for you. x
M: 🙂 I'm glad to hear it!!!
Mellisa: Oh my gosh. How could you!!!????? Croissants are the thing I miss MOST about gluten free eating. Perhaps I'll try to make some with almond flour (*FAIL*).
Michele: BAH HA HA AHHAHAAAAAA!!!!! You patriot. I love you. xx
Nancy: I've had that bread of hers, it's tasty!
Someday I WILL take you up on this 😉
(And I think a Canada candle would smell like snow & pine… and poutine.)
Do you have a good all-purpose GF flour mix you can share?
