Part Two: I Will Wade Out

i will wade out
till my thighs are steeped in burning flowers
I will take the sun in my mouth
and leap into the ripe air
Alive
with closed eyes
to dash against darkness
in the sleeping curves of my body
Shall enter fingers of smooth mastery
with chasteness of sea-girls
Will i complete the mystery
of my flesh
I will rise
After a thousand years
lipping
flowers
And set my teeth in the silver of the moon

[ee cummings]

i thought it fun to see your rock collection…
my husband chuckled the other day as i stooped over the earth combing it for little bits of quartz and mica (i feel validated now)

we're keeping my "collections" in the mason jars from our recent wedding.

A couple of weeks ago I went on a grocery store walk with the hubster and ran into a little front yard sale. Nothing jumped out except two poetry books, one by Yeats and one by e.e. for which paid 1 dollar each. "What a steal?" I thought.

The two books have been keeping me amazing company lately and you just reminded me again that I really felt like a thief for just paying a dollar. The beauty in that writing is infinite, there is no price for that, there's no price for truth.

    Tesori: Hey! You're welcome!

Mme: I'm going to hold you to that.

There's nothing like the mountains and lakes. I have to go to them at least once a year. It's essential for my soul and well being.

These photos are like little poems. Speaking of poems, ee cummings is one of my favorite poets.

As always, you look beautiful, dear heart.
