[aspen skin & mountain snails]
[various foliage & wild flower skeletons from last summers bloom]
[wild rose][juniper skin, lichen, moss & foliage remains]
Just a few handfuls of treasure I found while out bushwhacking on Crystal Summit this morning.
That’s some serious mountain booty!
HA HA!
True enough!
You find the most miraculous things! The textures, the colors. I want to turn every single one over and over in my hand. Or weave a magic cloak…
“Or weave a magic cloak…”
That’s just lovely.
Beautiful!
Inspiring!
All credit goes to nature! I just picked these things up off the forest floor.

One of each!

Hope you’re having a wonderful spring so far! x
Snails! Nice collection little lady 🙂
You WOULD like the snails….
🙂
I can see you on the hunt for all of the above. And I feel some wildly organic pieces springing forth from your fertile mind. Love the colors, the shapes, the “feel” of it all!
Janet,
I feel that same thing about to happen…:)
Thank you for being here today.

Beautiful skeletons! Do you know if the thin stemmed, star-burst remnant is Queen Anne’s Lace?
I’m finding the same dried specimen on my Oklahoma prairie,,, and I can’t wait to see what this shape blossoms into,,,
I think it’s hedge parsley — as far as I can deduce!
love these sorts of collections – it’s always wonderful to see how each person’s is different, how different nature treasures catch each person’s eye.
