What a sweet little pouch!
I’ve been meaning to make one for me and a few for you, for ages now.
These guys will function nicely as pencil cases, small clutches, wallets, or make-up bags…or anything else that a little pouch could be used for. Perhaps you have a tremendously miniature horse you want to put in there! Or a petite, alabaster lamb. Pop those little cuties in a pouch! That’s what I say.
They’re entirely hand crafted and this one is stitched together with the most perfect turquoise suede you’ve ever laid eyes on.
Scrumptious.

In other news, it’s been such a lovely Monday here. I spent most of the day waiting for the UPS man to arrive. The weather insisted on misting for most of the afternoon which is a kind of rain that never occurrs in Pocatello! It was like there was an imaginary Niagra Falls roaring just across the street. I practically needed a full rain suit to get from the mailbox and back again. All those tender little misties were licking at my eyelashes. Tater ate another pair of my shoes. We’re having tortilla soup for dinner. You know…just another Monday in paradise! Tra la la!
xx
sounds like a possibly exasperating Monday, and yet you always make it sound completely wonderful at the same time. that is an awesome little pouch – love the buffalo!
Well it was a little exasperating at times. Yes! But it was mostly lovely. Thanks for the buffie love!
sweet sweet sweet
love and light
Hey Cat!
Thank you!
xx
the pouch: my colours. and someplace to keep my tremendously miniature pony.
we have unending sunshine and fluffy clouds: i shall send some your way.
xx
Ah!
Look at that.
Blue sky and sun today.
Thank you!
xxxxxxx
yes.
the colors are fabulous and the buffalo seems to be roaming the open range wearing only a charming turquoise bow. lOVE it.
you had misty rain and we had c.r.a.z.y. wind. I got a complimentary dermabrasion facial walking home from the barn. i hope kansas appreciates its new layer of colorado topsoil.
I know…that buffalo is a bit of a nudist.
Couldn’t help but guffaw at your topsoil comment! Well. It was a sad guffaw. Topsoil is important, I know all about it, I come from wheat farming stock. xx
There’s been so much joy here today, I’m dripping with it. I believe there is an actual haze of happiness rising out of my pores. Is there such a thing as an excess of love? Well, here’s what I’m going to do. I’m sending some of this extra lovin’ to you. Save it up in your little bratwurst pouch for a rainy day.
My condolences for your shoes. I do hope T.Tot doesn’t develop a taste for pouches.
My gosh, Jenna! There’s been a lot of joy here too! I think it has something to do with spring and something to do with being in love with love…….
T.Tot has a taste for EVERYTHING.
It’s quite irritating.
Good thing he’s still wiggly and cute or I’d have to box his ears.
xx
I love the pouch!!!
Thanks Erin!
is there anything you can’t make? You are such a creative talent.
Yes. There are. 🙂 You are kind and sweet to wonder. 🙂 xx
Apparently, Tater and Henry have been reading the same manual on how to be a puppy!….what is it about whipping a boot around the house that makes for a perfect toy?!….I think I will need one of those precious pouches to put the little hail balls that were on my car this morning in and carry them around! :)…truth….I have a coloured pen and marker fetish…which always requires a special pouch..oh, and my tiny baby buddha could go for a ride in it too!…
sounds like you had a lovely day…xx!
OH NO!
HENRYYYYYYYYYY!!!
It’s a good thing it’s so easy to love them.
I did have a lovely day and I owe you a whopper of an email. I just wrangled my Etsy convos into submission this morning. I’ll try to get to some of my email account tomorrow.
ALL LOVE.
xx
So lovely. I adore the colors you used.
Thank you!
I like that color combination too.
It’s very fresh.
I’m thinking Robin Hood might like that pouch. Or Ms. Robin Hood. So woodsy and elfin. Of course, it would look wondrous with my wardrobe too. Hmmmmm.
It is rather woodsy and elfin.
I’m going to attempt moccasins later this week.
Just a little lightweight pair.
WISH ME ELF LUCK.
🙂

ohhh myyyyy GOSH! you are everything i love and more. i even think buffalo humps are kind of gross (sorry, i know they’re quite amazing animals, but i feel like they’re big brown mossy gallumps and that kinda weirds me out) and i want this. it’s so YOU. the colors, the workmanship, the everything. i’m proud of you for what you do and for who you’ve been, and are, and will become.
The things you find gross always make me laugh.
Thanks for loving all the versions of me you’ve known, and the ones to come.

Uh Jillian, I’m going to need one of those darling pouches.
Seriously.
Well heck!
Good thing I’ve been making more of them today!
xx
why crikey J…even a kangaroo can’t pouch it THAT good~n~pretty!
XO
GUFFAW!!!!!
xx
Gorgeous! Totally love them! xo
Thanks, Mash. xx
heavenly! me needs one for my gazillion bobby pins 😉
Ooh. I could use a bobby pouch too.
Bison,,, always a beautiful theme with me. The cows on our Oklahoma prairie are giving birth to
their red calves. 🙂 Love the pouch – I would stash some ‘nature loot’ of fur, small bones and sage in mine.
Nature loot would be PERFECT for these pouches. Perhaps I’ll try making some smaller *medicine* pouches for just such a thing! Thanks for being here. x
oh, I love your idea of medicine pouches!!!
That pouch is soooooo cute. I’m going to put together a shopping list right now just to use that pouch: 1) 2 miniature horses 2) 1 tiny alabaster lamb 3) 12 untamed colorful jelly beans : ). Looks like you had a great time making it. (I used to be a handbag maker myself!)
Helen,
I like your list.
Especially the jelly bean part.
