Just for one of those mornings when you wake up to feel such newness — the fatigue from the day before has faded into sunrise, one hundred swirling birdsongs and the flecks of tea leaves in hot water. This is one such morning, picked ripe from the branches of a deep sleep. Already, I have done such good work today.

there is really no conscious way you could have known how much I love Piers but of course it’s perfect that you dolloped him onto your page for me to find today… I didn’t know there was a newish album and it’s downloading now. I feel fragile vulnerable peach fuzzy today and he will be the perfect accompaniment … as always, thank you thank you (and soon).

also I have been meaning to tell you that you gave me another inspiration and that is moving my writing studio into my little travel trailer
not sure why I did not think of it before (I was sprawled out over the dinning room table affecting our social lives)
anyways upon seeing your beautiful studio in the airstream I got to thinking…..mmmmmm yes I could move out there!

Sorry to hear you had a bad studio day! When things are going badly in the studio, I get so grumpy and frumpy in my soul…I can let it wreck an entire day. But it’s so good to wake up to a new morning, a fresh day, and know that things can go so differently.
