We made it!
As always, it seems to take so much longer than expected to get everything set up and humming once more. Uprooting is tiring. We’ve been having interwebular struggles and just last night found what may be our best and only option for an internet connection out here in our lovely little mountain nook. We are SO glad to be back. I didn’t realize how much I missed this place, my gorgeously alive forest, my little cabin, the owls at twilight, the frog song rising up from the marsh, my hammers pinging in the glorious Airstream…
All is beautiful. Soggy too. It’s been raining heaps. I think I’m growing moss. I missed you so! Tra la la! More soon.

Loveliness abounds! You are such an inspiration! You photos are stunning and your words always make me smile.
Glad you are settling in well. I imagine it would be such fun to move about through the mountains like you do, waking up every morning in a cabin beneath the pines and within the mountain air. Just thinking about it sends me to some of my favorite places to camp.
Thanks again for sharing your magic. =)
*sigh* Jealous of you in your little cabin in the woods!
Settle in & enjoy!

Around there is beautiful…glad you are there to witness it…and so good to hear from you xx
Sigh…. your photos make me take a closer look at the world around me. To see the things I’ve previously passed by with urgencies of this and that – too busy to stop and notice.
Slowing down, taking notice, being present…. has been important to me this year ever since one morning I looked out and realized our little red oak had leaves… and I had not even noticed the transition from bare branches to fullness.
Your photos just brought so much color into my apartment! Wow- the photo of the rain, off in the distance… magic.
