Luminous, mysterious kyanite!!!  Otherworldly.  I’ve had these rings partially finished, laying there forlorn and pathetic on my studio bench since February — I finally set the stones today.  I love how they turned out.

Each ring features a bezel set kyanite flanked by my textured and hammer formed flying birds; there’s a lot of movement and dimension to this design but these are rings that still manage to wear very elegantly and easily.

But let’s be honest, the stones are the thing.  This kyanite seems unfathomable and the way it holds the light is pretty unreal.  Gorgeous stuff.
