New work:

A little preview of some of the pieces I will be listing in my shop today at 4PM MST. I’ve been ignoring the world, keeping my head down with my nose pressed tight to the grindstone in the studio. I’ve been fiddling around with new techniques and ideas, giving myself a lot of space to roam. These new prong settings are something I’ve been playing around with. They are a really beautiful way to elevate simple stone settings. Should I keep on with them? I’m also on the botanical train right now because my green thumbs are in a serious twitch. What will your gardens grow this summer? I hope you’re planting some flowers.

  1. Beautiful!! I love the touches of brass.

  2. YES! I love this new prong setting! Crossing my fingers for some teeny ones (blues and greens would be dreamy)for mother’s day…and also maybe one for me too 🙂

    Beautiful work as always!

    • Hey B!

Thanks for taking a moment to vote.❤️ I’ll keep incorporating these prongs in coming designs. I do have a batch of TINY pendants half finished on my bench (turquoise and raw ruby). I couldn’t get them made in time for the shop update today…but eventually I’ll finish them!

      Thanks for popping by today.

  3. Oooo those sounds lovely— I’ll be looking forward to that batch!

Also, flowers WILL be planted to “sing some colour into my life” in reference to your previous post. Such a joy to read your journal posts again!

  4. Wow your creativity is just astounding – that lil owl so CUTE he looks like he could hop over and say HI. Great work Jillian, you are an inspiration! The flowers and leaves look like they were molded from the vine! and YES I’m planting lots of annuals this year – my perennials are all up and starting to do their thing, I just ordered 2 apple saplings from a local apple farm and my bulbs are all in bloom – what an amazing time of year! Every time I read one of your posts I feel like I need to jump up and get outside and get crackin! :0

Pretty, pretty, pretty, oh and your jewelry too! I am not a jeweler but a photographer/artist and your work inspires me to think and see new images that flutter in my mind, to apply to my photos and mixed media.
Love hearing about it all and your “new” life. Life is rich.
