About three years ago I made myself this bison wallet. It’s my trusty companion while I’m out and about stimulating the economy and it gets a lot of attention when I procure it (with a grand flourish) from my purse in the market place. I’ve been meaning to make a few similar pouches for the shop and in the past few weeks I’ve been making my “meaning to” come true. I put a little twist on the new design though:
The new pouches feature a larger bi-layer copper and sterling closure. This specific pouch has a pair of leaping rabbits gracing its front flap. The other clutches I am working on host tender loving bison, grumbly rumbly bears and galloping horses. These metal components are a throwback to the “Fidelity” series I whipped up a few years ago only now I’ve paired the metal work with leather. Yum! This specific clutch is made of cowhide in cactus green and pumpkin with turquoise suede lace and you can find it in the shop.
Swanky baby, swanky.
